For those who requested photos of the wedding and honeymoon I thought I’d share a few pics here on the blog. I don’t actually own a camera, so the quality is not great as I just use my trusty mobile phone, but I hope you enjoy this little peek into a writer’s life when she isn’t doing any writing whatsoever!

Wedding day! My long term partner and I married in front of family and a couple of close friends, with my daughters by my side, and his son and daughter by his side. It was small, intimate and wonderful
Honeymoon – destination Palm Cove, North Queensland (Australia). It’s supposed to be sunny!
Crocodile spotting along the Daintree River in the far north Queensland rainforest and mangroves. This was when it really hit home that we were in the tropics. So many crocs in all the waterways up there.
Champagne while watching the sun go down on Green Island, Great Barrier Reef. We were overwhelmed by all the day trippers to the island when we first arrived, but once that last boat goes home at 4.30pm, and only the overnighters are left on the island, what a special place it is!
We did go snorkelling off Green Island and saw amazing coral, tropical fish and lots of sea turtles, but I put my wetsuit on back to front and the pic is too embarrassing so I can’t show you
In the rainforest up near Kuranda. Beautiful but with a mysterious and somewhat timeless feeling.
Dinner on the last night before home – we ate SO MUCH on this trip!
